Overbay is in the final year of his contract that will see him make $7 million in 2010.  Snyder has two years left plus an option that would see him make 4.75 million in 2010, $5.75 million in 2011 along with either a $6.75 million salary or a $750,000 buyout in 2012. The Republic reports that while its unclear how far the talks have progressed, the Jays would more than likely want Snyder to undergo a battery of tests to ensure that his back is healed.
